Making Charlotte a Climate-Ready and Just City

Charlotte, NC is a rapidly growing and dynamic city, but has long struggled to bridge a drastic divide between rich and poor residents. Layered on top of these issues, Charlotte is now facing more climate-change-driven heat waves, rain storms and drought that will disproportionately impact the health, safety, and wallets of the city’s working class communities and communities of color.
